In the first part of the session the lecturer will explain the muscles in the body that are impacted by long hours spent sitting in one position and the damage that can be done to the body if your posture is incorrect.
In the second part of the session the lecturer will demonstrate the correct sitting position for computer and other desk work and discuss how, by using easily obtained props and pausing every now and then to do simple exercises (which she will demonstrate) you can avoid muscle and eye strain.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and the session will be interactive.
